SHOUTING OUT LOUD SPECIAL EDITION PRIZE DRAW: Terms and Conditions

1.        This Prize Draw is being organised by The Orion Publishing Group Limited (the ‘Publisher’), Carmelite House, 50 Victoria Embankment, London EC4Y 0DZ.

2.        This Prize Draw is for the chance to win 1 of 10 original 1980 editions of "The Raincoats Booklet" (the ‘Prize’).

3.        To enter the Prize Draw, you will need to purchase a special edition copy of Shouting Out Loud (ISBN 9781399629997) between 10.00am 17 April 2025 until 11.59pm 18 August 2026. 10 ‘golden tickets’ have randomly been enclosed in 10 special edition copies. If your copy has a golden ticket enclosed, you will be entitled to win 1 x Prize. You will need to submit a photo clearly showing the unique code of your special edition copy, proof of purchase and the ticket to marketing@orionbooks.co.uk. No further purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw.

4.        The winner(s) of the Prize Draw (the ‘Winner’) will be informed by email within 30 days of receipt of their email with the proof of purchase and proof of golden ticket in accordance with these Terms and Conditions by a member of the Publisher’s marketing team whose decision will be final. Winners will be required to confirm at the time of submitting the form that they agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

5.        A winner’s Prize will be dispatched within 30 days of their successful entry being acknowledged by the Publisher. The Prize will be delivered via courier or Royal Mail special delivery and the Winner will need to provide the Publisher a UK based address for delivery.

6.        The Prize is for the Winner’s personal use and enjoyment only. The Winner must not resell the Prize under any circumstance.

7.        Winner(s) names and/or social media handles may be published on the Orion social media channels within 1 month of the Winner contacting the Publisher. The Winner’s name and/or social media handle may also be published on the Publisher’s and website and social media accounts, The Raincoats social media accounts and website, the author Audrey Golden’s social media accounts and website.

8.        Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of the Publisher, their families, or to anyone professionally connected to the Prize Draw or Audrey Golden, The Raincoats either themselves or through their families. The Prize will not be awarded to anyone who does not meet these entry criteria.

9.        The individual who receives the golden ticket in their special edition copy is required to submit their proof of purchase and proof of the golden ticket between 10.01am on 19 August 2025 and 11.59pm on 31 December 2025 the proof of purchase and proof of the golden ticket is received outside the times and dates specified in Clause 4 above, and/or if any proof of purchase and proof of golden ticket does not meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions or cannot be verified by the Publisher as genuine, you will not be eligible to claim the Prize.

10.  The Publisher is not responsible for contacting or responding to entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information or for entries that are lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed.

11.  The Publisher reserves the right to (i) cancel the Prize Draw; (ii) alter the details of the Prize and/or (iii) alter any other details of the Prize Draw without notice but the Publisher will try to avoid creating any undue disappointment. No cash alternative or other alternatives to the Prize will be provided.

12.  If the Winner is unable to accept their Prize or cannot be contacted, the Publisher reserves the right not to award the Prize. 

13.  Any personal data submitted by entrants, including their names and email addresses (the ‘Information’), will be used by the Publisher (who is the Data Controller) for the purposes of this Prize Draw, including without limitation for the purpose of running the Prize Draw and arranging and/or delivering the Prize, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with Publisher’s Privacy Notice which can be found here https://www.orionbooks.co.uk/landing-page/orion/privacy-notice-general-orion/ . The Information will be deleted within six months of delivery of the Prize. The Publisher will not share the Information with any third parties except for the purpose of arranging and/or delivering the Prize (which may include sharing the photo with The Raincoats and such members of their professional team as may be necessary for the purposes of delivering the Prize to the Winner).

14.  By entering the Prize Draw, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

15.  These Terms and Conditions and any disputes or claims (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
